At SPEAK, we stand for customer protection and satisfaction. We want you to love your purchase, but if something isn't right, we're here to help within our 7-day return window.
You have 7 days from the delivery date to initiate a return for eligible items.
- Returns must be requested within 7 days of receiving your order
- Items must be returned within 14 days of approval
- Returns initiated after 7 days cannot be accepted
- For store pickup orders, the 7-day period starts from the pickup date
Important: Please inspect your items upon delivery. Report any issues immediately for faster resolution.
To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following conditions:
- Unworn and Unused: Items must be in their original, unworn condition
- Tags Attached: All original tags, labels, and packaging must be intact
- No Alterations: Items must not have been altered, washed, or damaged
- Original Packaging: Must be returned in the original SPEAK packaging when possible
- Proof of Purchase: Original receipt or order confirmation required
For hygiene, safety, and sustainability reasons, the following items cannot be returned:
- Damaged Goods: Items damaged after delivery or due to customer mishandling
- Sale/Clearance Items: Products purchased during final sale events (marked "Final Sale")
- Worn Items: Products showing signs of wear, washing, or alteration
- Intimates & Undergarments: For hygiene reasons, regardless of packaging
- Customized Items: Personalized or custom-made products
- Gift Cards: Digital or physical gift cards are non-returnable
- Missing Components: Items returned without tags, packaging, or accessories
If you received a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately for a replacement or refund.
Follow these simple steps to return your purchase:
Step 1: Contact Us
- Email: returns@speak.ng
- Include your order number and reason for return
- Attach photos of the item if reporting a defect
Step 2: Return Authorization
- Our team will review your request within 24-48 hours
- You'll receive a Return Authorization (RA) number if approved
- Follow the instructions provided for shipping
Step 3: Package & Ship
- Pack items securely in original packaging
- Include RA number clearly marked on package
- Ship to the address provided in your authorization email
Step 4: Inspection & Refund
- We'll inspect your return within 3-5 business days
- Refund issued if item meets return conditions
- You'll receive confirmation via email
Once your return is approved and processed:
- Inspection: 3-5 business days after we receive your return
- Refund Method: Original payment method (Paystack, bank transfer, etc.)
- Processing Time: 5-10 business days for refund to appear in your account
- Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless item was defective
- Return Shipping: Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
Partial Refunds: May be issued for items not in original condition, with missing tags, or showing signs of wear.
We currently do not offer direct exchanges. To exchange an item:
- Return the original item following the return process
- Place a new order for the desired item
- This ensures you get your preferred item faster
Size Exchanges: For size-related returns, we offer expedited processing to help you get the right size quickly.
